Session 1: Nutrition for Sport Aim: To provide foundational knowledge on how nutrition impacts athletic performance, covering key principles like energy balance, macronutrient requirements and hydration. Attendees will learn practical strategies for fuelling both training and competition days.
Dan Richardson, MSc, SENr is a performance nutrition expert who supports elite and school-level athletes to optimise their health and athletic potential. He’s worked professionally as a nutritionist with teams such as Manchester City, Sale Sharks, Warrington Wolves and Leeds United. His approach to nutrition is simple, evidence-based and food-first, focusing on utilising the latest nutrition research to support all students and athletes.
Ellie Olds – Holroyd Howe Company Nutritionist, BSc, ANutr Holroyd Howe specialise in independent school catering, working with over 230 schools across the country, and have a long-standing partnership with Seaford College.

Wednesday 15th January – 7:00pm - 8:30pm Session 2: Nutrition for Female Athletes Aim: To explore the unique nutritional needs of female athletes, focusing on energy availability, menstrual health and performance. This session will empower female athletes with tools to support their health and optimise their training.
Wednesday, 5th February – 7:00pm - 8:30pm Session 3: Nutritional Recovery & Supplements Aim: To educate athletes on effective recovery strategies through nutrition, including timing, macronutrient ratios and rehydration. The session will also provide guidance on supplement use and discuss safe and effective options to aid recovery and performance.
