Seaford recently welcomed new and returning Sixth Form students to its pre-season 3-day rugby training camp – and it was a great success.
The aim of the camp was to form new bonds both on and off the pitch, while working on fitness, techniques and tactics ahead of the new season.
We spoke to teachers, including Director of Sport Christian Head, and new and returning students, about how the camp helped them to develop team spirit and build new bonds.
The students were able to make use of Seaford’s wonderful surroundings, such as the Forest School and the South Downs, as well as letting off steam on the final day with a trip to Chichester Watersports. The camp finished with a barbeque at Mansion House attended by parents, staff and students.
A huge thank you to parents for their support and to staff for organising such a fabulous experience for the students.
