Headmaster, John Green, said: “I’m delighted with our A Level, BTEC, CTEC and EPQ results.  Seaford impressively maintains its academic momentum by achieving the highest ever A*, A*-A, A*-B and A*-C grades for Sixth Form in publicly sat examinations. These are exceptional results. 

“Significantly, Seaford is very proud to have 50% of applicants going on to Russell Group universities, including the University of Bristol, the University of Exeter, the University of Nottingham and Cardiff University – the highest number ever, as well as the highest number of students ever heading to their first-choice university. I am so proud of what we have achieved through teamwork with students, staff and parents. 

“These superb results highlight Seaford's academic excellence and students’ ambition to succeed and I’m immensely proud of the results all our students have achieved. These impressive results are down to their hard work and determination to achieve their personal best.       

 “Our EPQ results are fantastic with all students gaining A* and A grades, demonstrating that our students have the skills to succeed at university. Our students chose some very interesting topics to study independently, and I was very impressed with their dedication in completing their projects. EPQs give students research skills and critical thinking skills that are needed for university and sought after by employers.       

“The results are underpinned by the hard work and dedication of my amazing staff. Our popularity as a non-selective, all-inclusive school has seen an increase in student numbers of over 50% in the last 13 years and this is undoubtedly due to our strengthened academic core. This September, we will see our highest student numbers across our Prep School, Middle School and Sixth Form.

Alex Witcomb (from Chichester) achieved 2A*s, A & EPQ A* and is reading Psychology at the University of Bath, Rosie Stace (from Pulborough) achieved A*, A, Distinction* & EPQ A* and is heading to Cardiff University to study Physiotherapy, Archie Dixon (from Dunsfold) gained A*, A, B and EPQ A and will study Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Sheffield, Daisy Toms (from Hindhead) achieved 2As, B and EPQ A* and is reading English and the University of York. 

Charlie Bamsey (from Barns Green) gained A*, A & Distinction* and will study Computer Science and the University of Southampton, Eva Briscoe, Head Girl, (from Chichester) achieved 2A*s & A and taking a gap year to gain work experience in the City and applying to Stanford in the USA, Hadley Holden (from Birdham) achieved 2A*s & A and will study Creative Music Technology at the University of Surrey, Lucas Risager Pink (from Minsted) gained 2A*s & A and is reading Politics and Economics at Newcastle University, Adam Cort (from Coneyhurst) gained 3As and is reading Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at the University of Nottingham. 

Molly McGee (from East Wittering) gained A, 2Bs and EPQ A* and is studying Music and Music Psychology at the University of Leeds, Josh Andrews (from Storrington) achieved A, 2Bs and EPQ A and has a professional contract with Harlequins and is deferring a place at the University of Exeter to read Biological Sciences, Jenna Hardman (from Ifold) gained A, 2Bs and EPQ A and is heading to the University of Nottingham to read Natural Sciences, Elodie Ashby Rudd (from Trotton) achieved A,B,C and EPQ A* and is heading to Loughborough University to study International Business. 

Arun Christie-Verma (from Westbourne) gained Distinction *, 2Cs and EPQ A* and will study Outdoor and Adventure Education at the University of Chichester, Freddie Goy (from Pulborough) achieved Distinction, B, C and EPQ A* and will study Finance: Business Management at the University of Exeter, Jasmine Molloy (from Normandy) gained 3Bs and EPQ A* and will read Human and Social Sciences at Cardiff University, Archie Williams, Head Boy, (from Bury) achieved 3Bs and EPQ A* and will study Mechanical Engineering at Cardiff University, Charlie Allom (from Salisbury) gained 3 Distinctions and will study Sport Management at Northumbria University, Joe Austin (from Bramshott) achieved A*, A & B and will read History at the University of Exeter. 

Finn Blunden Hare (from Rackham) gained 3 Distinctions and will study Business Management at Manchester Met University, Adam Churchyard (from Buxted) achieved 3 Distinctions and will study Sports Coaching at Hartpury University, Phoebe Collins (from Bury) gained A*, A & B and will study Media Communications at the University of Exeter, George Cronk (from London) achieved 3 Distinctions and will study Sports Business and Entrepreneurship at Bristol, UWE, Connie Cryer (from Linchmere) gained 2 Distinctions* and C and will study Fashion Marketing at Manchester Met University. Olivia McIntyre (from Walberton) achieved 2As & B and will study Sociology and Criminology at the University of Exeter.  

Freddie Gillett (from Sidlesham) achieved 3 Distinctions and has a professional contract with Hampshire Cricket, Jack Golding (from Cowplain) gained A*, Distinction & B and is heading to Hartpury University to do an Integrated Master’s in Veterinary Physio, Charlie Ladd (from Godalming) achieved A*, A & B and is reading Physics at the University of York, Esther Pitt (from Billingshurst) gained 2As and a Distinction and is reading Sociology at the University of Leeds, Marcus Protopapa (from Hindhead) achieved 3 Distinctions and will study Business and Management at Bristol, UWE, Sam Rees (from Haslemere) gained A*, A & B and will read Chemistry at the University of Bristol. 

Hayden Davey (from Haslemere) gained 2Bs, C and EPQ A* and is reading Psychology at the University of Nottingham, Olivia Bramsden (from Cranleigh) gained Distinction *, Distinction and Merit and is having a gap year, Ollie Christiansen (from Pulborough) achieved 2As & B and is studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Nottingham, Lottie Curling (from Rudgwick) gained 2As & B and is heading for a professional career with Hampshire Cricket.  

Teddy Henry (from Hammer) achieved 2 Distinction * and B and is heading to Leeds University to study Business Management and Marketing, Fenn Chandler (from Oving) gained 2 Distinction * and 2Cs and is heading to Norwich University of the Arts to study Photography, Liv Bergmann (from Easebourne) achieved 2 Distinction * & C and will study Marketing Communications at Bournemouth University she has changed course to Media at Exeter, George Escott (from Fernhurst) gained A and 2 Distinction * and will study Accounting and Finance at the University of Leeds, Ava Greenland (from Chiddingfold) achieved A, B & Distinction and will read Philosophy at Newcastle University, Sam McLaren-Clark (from Arundel) gained Distinction *, Distinction and C and is heading to Hartpury University to study Sports Performance. 

Oliver Mullahy (from Thakeham) achieved A* and 2Bs and will study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton, Noah Walker (from Easebourne) gained Distinction *, B, C and EPQ A and will study Accounting and Finance at Newcastle University, Olivia Staniforth (from Storrington) gained B and 3 Cs and will study Costume at the Arts University, Bournemouth this has now changer to Falmouth University, Mimi Stewart (from Farnham) achieved 2Bs, C and EPQ A and will study Marketing and Management at the University of Exeter, Chase Thomas (from Petersfield) gained Distinction *, Distinction & Merit and is heading to Cardiff Met University to study Sports Media, Will Tunstall (from Haslemere) achieved 2As & B and will read History at the University of Leeds.

“There are many routes Seaford students take after Sixth Form including the military, careers in the police force, agricultural college and reindeer herding in the Scottish Highlands.  

“Despite these superb academic achievements, Seaford has maintained its core ethos, and these results were achieved in a non-pressurised environment where students have also excelled in co-curricular pursuits alongside their studies.  Most importantly, these results have been achieved with smiles on our students’ faces, in a happy and supportive community.    We believe students achieve their best when they are happy, healthy and confident.  

Our "Success without Stress" philosophy is at the heart of everything we do, and it's one of the reasons more families are choosing Seaford.  In our latest ISI inspection, Seaford received the rare accolade of a "Significant Strength". Inspectors recognised our high levels of participation in sport and outdoor education, our focus on healthy routines, and pupils who approach challenge with resilience, confidence and enthusiasm. They also recognised "Success without Stress" as a defining characteristic of the school, where wellbeing drives academic success and personal development. 

“We are proud that Seaford remains academically inclusive and offers an unmatched depth and breadth of curriculum subjects covering over 38 post-16 qualifications in A Level, EPQ, BTEC and CTEC (Cambridge Technical Qualifications).   Seaford students celebrated success across every subject of our broad curriculum. 

“My academic strategy and culture of ambition is firmly embedded at all levels. The academic momentum and all-round ambition have seen success from the academically gifted through to those who find the examination process a challenge. These results provide evidence that the College’s academic strategy – and our focus on continually striving for the best teaching and learning – is having a sustainable impact.      

“Most importantly, I am so proud that Seaford remains an academically inclusive environment – and what we do is never about league table positions or perception, it’s about doing the right things for every student so that they can achieve their personal best. As I always say, as long as they work hard and have done their best, students should be proud of their results regardless of whether they have secured a place at their first choice university or via the incredibly competitive clearing process this year. Indeed, your best is always good enough because you cannot do better than your best, whatever the outcome might be. One thing for certain is that our students have displayed a huge amount of resilience during their time at Seaford and each and every student this year should be very proud of what they have achieved.
