We are delighted to share that we have had a fantastic response to the upcoming Seaford College Digital Leadership Conference, which is taking place on Thursday 20th November, and we are pleased to see strong interest from teachers and academic leaders registering to attend.

The conference is aimed at Digital Leaders from Schools, Colleges and Universities, including members of SLT, IT Services and Support Managers, Digital Safeguarding and Wellbeing Leads, Operations Managers, Digital and Technical Leads and Teachers, and we are especially keen to ensure that Heads of IT and Technical Leads join the conference, as this event is designed to bring together both academic and technical leadership, recognising that a truly effective digital strategy relies on the synergy between vision and infrastructure.

A highlight of the morning will be a Live Hack Simulation delivered by Planet IT and Sophos, offering valuable insights for all attendees:

• For IT, Infrastructure, Finance, and senior leaders: a hands-on, realistic experience of how cyberattacks unfold and how to respond under pressure.

• For teachers and academic leaders: a powerful demonstration of the broader impact on teaching, safeguarding, communication, and continuity of learning — transforming abstract “IT risks” into tangible, strategic considerations.

The afternoon will feature specialist sessions including AI in education, wellbeing and safeguarding in the digital classroom, digital sustainability, and long-term cyber resilience, along with opportunities to connect with peers and industry experts.

Please share this invitation with your Head of IT, IT Manager, or Technical Lead — their voice is vital to these discussions.

For more information, please email conferences@seaford.org or use the following link https://forms.office.com/e/Sj3ptpMacm to register.

Please note that the RSVP deadline has been extended to Friday 7th November, following the half-term break.
