Registration
Following a visit, if you would like your child to be considered for a place at Seaford College Prep School, please complete the registration form as soon as possible and return this to Admissions together with payment of the £120 registration fee (VAT inclusive).
We advise registering your child at least 18 months prior to when you would like them to join.
Discovery Sessions, Taster & Experience Days and Assessments
Children joining Reception are warmly invited to our Seaford Discovery Sessions, where they’ll enjoy a variety of exciting activities both inside and outside the classroom including Forest School, Art, Drama, and Sports. These ‘Stay and Play’ sessions provide a welcoming environment for children and their families to make new friends and feel at home as they begin their Seaford Prep School journey.
For entry for Years 1–6, we would be delighted to welcome your child to our Prep School for a Taster Day, where they join students in their current year group and participate in lessons and activities. They have a buddy for the day who looks after them during break and lunchtimes. This is a helpful opportunity for your child to see how the Prep School works and a good way to experience life at Seaford.
For entry into Year 7, we invite students to visit on one of two Seaford Experience Days where they will take part in a fun, action packed day and meet some of our current students.
Registered students looking to join Seaford College in Years 6&7 will be asked to sit Cognitive Abilities Tests. Seaford is an inclusive, non-elitist school that is academically non-selective. We use Cognitive Abilities Tests, known as the Cat 4 Ability Test, to ascertain not only whether your child will be able to access the curriculum, but whether they will be happy in the Seaford College environment.
Applications for entry into Reception to Year 8 are offered subject to places being available. Please contact Admissions to find out more about space in these year groups.
Offers
On completion of the Admissions process, and if successful, Seaford College will make an offer based on references, school reports, Taster Days, and CAT results (where applicable).
