Eco-Councils in action for Fairtrade Fortnight
Sharing Fairtrade products at our Parent Coffee Hour.

Thank you to our Sixth Form Eco-Council representatives, Cissy and Art Griffiths for coming along to talk to our parents about Fairtrade products at our Senior and Sixth Form Parent Coffee Hour this morning. Our Executive Chef, Cavill Perrin, created Fairtrade banana muffins with Fairtrade chocolate chips and Fairtrade tea and coffee was served.

We have our Prep School Coffee Power Hour taking place tomorrow, Thursday 16th March between 8.30-9.25am. Head of Prep School, Al Brown, said: “These informal mornings are proving incredibly popular, providing a chance to grab a quick coffee on the way home or to stay longer to chat to parents across other year groups.”

Betsy Vernon, said: “Fairtrade Fortnight is taking place (an annual event February 27th-March 12th). We are raising awareness and the Eco-School Committees are also going to make Seaford College community aware of where their menu choices, fruit, vegetables and flowers come from, by naming and locating the product labels with the help of the Catering Department and Michael Withers. Michael promises a Seaford Fairtrade Banoffee Pie on the menu!”
