Girls at Seaford College play netball in the Spring Term.
FACILITIES AND COACHING
Students receive the benefit of excellent coaching for all ages and abilities. We have a range of coaches from Level 2 to Level 4. The Fixture Programme is developing all of the time and we now play some of the top teams in the country on a Saturday and during the various tournaments throughout the year. The College has five outdoor courts set in the School’s beautiful grounds, three of which have recently been resurfaced, as well as two indoor courts.
Seaford hosts several netball tournaments each year, including the hugely popular FastNet competition, when 20 different schools from across the area play this exciting and fast-paced version of the game within Seaford’s stunning grounds.
Every girl has the opportunity to go on tour at least once during their time at the Senior School. In July 2017 the Senior Girls’ Netball Tour visited Australia and New Zealand. The 2019 Netball tour to Malta was also a huge success.
Through the experience of playing, training, and travelling to matches together, all girls who play netball at Seaford learn the values of team spirit. Seaford, with its strong sense of camaraderie, is above all an inclusive place to play netball, with all girls having the chance to play competitive matches on a regular basis.
All teams are encouraged to strive to be the best that they can be, and this is reflected by improved performances across all age groups and abilities.
