Hockey is a fast, energetic game that teaches the importance of athleticism and teamwork.

Girls play hockey at Seaford in the Winter Term, and boys play hockey in the Spring Term. Both girls and boys are taught by an experienced coaching team and have the use of Seaford’s excellent facilities, which include an AstroTurf pitch set in the School’s stunning grounds and a full-sized indoor hockey pitch.

Students receive the benefit of excellent coaching for all ages and abilities. We have a range of coaches from Level 2 to Level 4. The Fixture Programme is developing all of the time and we now play some of the top teams in the country on a Saturday and during the various tournaments throughout the year.

In the Winter Term, the Senior School fields several girls teams, and in the Spring Term the Senior School puts out several boys teams.

Teams at Seaford College enter a number of competitions, both locally and nationally, and regularly compete against schools such as Lancing College, Portsmouth Grammar School, and Ardingly. Seaford is proud to have strong club links with Chichester, Havant, and East Grinstead, and there are a number of students who play hockey at county, regional, and national level.
