Extra-Curricular Overview
At Seaford College we pride ourselves on inspiring personal ambition and success for all our students across the full breadth of the curriculum.
Academic progress is at the heart of everything we do, but we believe that co-curricular activities are vital to a student's development – to creating well-rounded individuals with good self-esteem and a hunger for life.
It's also Headmaster John Green’s firm belief that everyone should be part of a team, because it helps students develop important life skills. But that doesn’t necessarily have to be a sports team – it could be a debating team, a choir, a rock band, or some other school group.
At Seaford, our message is always very simple: ‘Have a go.’ Students here will often try something new and discover a new passion or undiscovered talent.
We are proud to have extremely strong and vibrant Art and Performing Arts departments, as well as incredible facilities and coaches for sports, but we also offer a very broad range of extra-curricular activities at Seaford, at multiple occasions throughout the week, and we are always open to adding more. We also have a full programme of activities on Saturday mornings open to boarders and day pupils.
But don’t just take our word for it. Come along to one of our Open Mornings and see us in action.
Our next Open Morning is on Saturday 1st March 9-11am.
- Register for our next Open Morning and come and see us in action, and feel the Seaford buzz for yourself. We’d love to have a chat about your child’s needs.
