Seaford’s Chapel Service Focusses on our Community

Jed and Father ColinAt our Prep School Chapel Service this week, Fr. Colin spoke about community. He said: “A community is a group of people living and growing together.”

He spoke about exams and understanding how students who are currently taking exams may feel. He added: “it’s our responsibility to encourage them and to give them space if they need it. A community is about inspiring each other and sharing values.” Continue reading

The Prep School Hit the Slopes

Prep School Ski TripOver the Easter holidays, a group of 27 students and 3 staff travelled to Salzburg, Austria for Seaford Prep’s Ski Trip. With students from across the years, their skiing ability ranged from first timers to advanced.

The group was split into three different ability groups. These changed throughout the week and saw some first timers move up to intermediate level and some of our advanced group trying out the pro line jumps at the ski park. Continue reading

World Book Week

Swapping booksSeaford College embraced World Book Week with a range of activities to help nurture and celebrate our love of reading.

The week started with a book swap which provided a great opportunity for students to find a new book to read and give someone else the opportunity to read their favourite. They brought in books that they no longer needed, and swapped them for a small donation. All funds raised went to the RSPCA. Continue reading
