Our Year 9 students enjoyed the business workshop with a Dragons' Den theme.

Year 9 students recently took part in a Dragons’ Den workshop aimed at giving them the experience in business and enterprise and developing their presenting skills.

The students were divided into groups and were tasked with inventing a product or service, taking into account the costs of design, manufacture and marketing. The teams then presented to the other groups in the workshop. They were given a currency and the winning teams were the ones that earned the most.

Angela Loten, Head of Careers at Seaford said: “I was very impressed with the ideas the students came up with. Their confidence grew from the group work and they all improved their listening, speaking (clearly) and teamwork skills.”
