Students enjoyed our final booster revision session before their Easter break

Year 11 students, who sit their GCSEs in May, took part in an inspiring talk this term entitled, ‘Maximising Success’, aimed at giving them the practical skills they need to revise.

Dan Joseph, Head of Year 11, said: “Last night was a revision skills seminar. Our final booster session led by Steve Coppin and Chloe Mills of The Life Skills Company. They have visited twice before in order to help develop Year 11 revision techniques and processes. It was a great opportunity for our Year 11 students to brush up on their revision techniques in advance of their three week Easter break. It fits in perfectly with Year 11 creating their revision planners for the Easter break this week. All of which will help guide them in their preparation for the summer exams starting on 16th May.

We are proud of how incredibly hard Year 11 students have worked this term. Sitting two sets of mocks, whilst completing coursework in time for deadlines for subjects including English, PE, DT, Food Tech, Art and Business studies. They are the first cohort to sit ‘real’ exams in three years and we are all so excited to see them take on this challenge.”
