Year 10 students enjoyed a careers workshop with focus on understanding their values.

Year 10 students recently took part in a careers workshop entitled, ‘Personal Branding’, delivered by Lorna Owen of Future Smart Careers.

Angela Loten, Head of Careers at Seaford, said: “The students had to think about how famous people projected their image, or brand, and then present their findings to the other students. This then led to them thinking about their own ‘brand’, their aspirations and strengths and how they show what type of person they are to the world, and to future employers.”

Commenting on the workshop, one student said: “I learnt more about my values and where I would like to go in life.” Another said: “I learnt that the qualities and characteristics I have are the ones that will help me to get a job.”
