We’ve had fantastic feedback about our Year 10 Careers Days. 

Angela Loten, Head of Careers, said: “On two Mondays in June, our Year 10 students continued their exploration into the world of work through a series of workshops. The first day all students attended three sessions led by professionals from the fields of Hospitality, Sport, Engineering, Medicine, Business and Creative Media. A lot was learnt through real-life examples and role plays.

The second day was more hands on and aimed at careers in STEM. Starting with an assembly highlighting the very varied jobs available to youngsters these days, the students then went on to learn about and create their own planes, bridges and windmills. A lot of fun was had with the competitions and the general consensus was that it had been a really good day.”
