Welsh Rugby legend, Colin Charvis takes a training session at Seaford College

Our senior rugby players learnt a lot from their training session with Welsh Rugby legend, Colin Charvis.  Colin described the session as: “The boys have been really enthusiastic and it’s been a wonderful session today. What a beautiful place to come and coach rugby.”

Our Director of Sport, Liam Doubler, and our Head of Rugby, Dan Falvey, are both Welshmen and were very excited to meet Colin, the player they grew up watching on TV.  Colin’s session focussed on attack-based drills.  In the video we hear from our students and the key skills they developed during the session.  These included: communication – you can never be too loud during a match – follow your pass, ripping the ball, variations of rucking, staying on your feet and fighting through contact.

Colin was one of our Sports Dinner guest speakers along with; Rob Andrew MBE and Sophie Bray MBE.
