Becca Randell discusses student wellbeing at Seaford at our Student Wellbeing Conference

Becca Randell discusses student wellbeing at Seaford at our Student Wellbeing Conference. Becca is Kent, Surrey and Sussex Children’s Mental Health Implementation Lead at Kent,Surrey and Sussex Academic Health Science Network, and works with the Pastoral Team at Seaford.

Becca said: “We’ve been able to look at stigma and mental health, we were able to work in groups to look at negative stereo types and the impact that those had. It was really great to hear from Mr Green the Headmaster from Seaford, he came in and shared with the room how important it is to invest as a school in mental health, emotional wellbeing and emotional resilience. A huge thanks to Seaford and the work they have done to initiate this fantastic conference on student wellbeing.”

Becca recommends a new Sussex website www.e-wellbeing.co.uk, this offers a range of local mental health services and Covid-19 information.

Wellbeing and pastoral care is a key part of our Seaford ethos and culture. To learn more head to our website https://www.seaford.org/pastoral-care/pastoral-life
