A competition for students to apply their numeracy skills.

Congratulations to all of our Year 10 & 11 students who took part in the Senior UK Maths Challenge. Femi Adeniran, Head of Maths, said: “The UK Maths Challenge competitions aim to inspire a love of problem solving with maths. You can’t revise for the challenge; it’s made up of difficult questions to test deep understanding of maths. We had lots of bronze and silver awards, and three Year 11 pupils achieved a gold award, it’s a fantastic experience for students to apply their numeracy skills. Well done to everyone who took part.”

In this video we hear from Year 11 students, Morgan Blake, Abigail Jupp and Harrison Blackmore-Squires about the challenge. They talk about why they love the maths teaching at Seaford, what they got from taking part in the Challenge.

Our Prep School students also take part in the Junior Challenge.
