Invitation to Year 11 Parents

Sheila Butler, Assistant Head Personalised Learning and Student Intervention, invites all Year 11 parents to attend a webinar on Thursday 18th April at 7pm entitled “Supporting your child through their first external examinations”.

Sheila said: “I know many of you recently attended our “Maximising Success” talk and found this incredibly useful. I wanted to take the opportunity to add to this resource, and my talk will cover:

• Checking in on active rather than passive revision

• Access to past papers

• Understanding the “formula” of exams from an examiner’s perspective

• Navigating exam timetables

• Time management approaches for revision

• On the day of the exam; wellbeing advice

• Q&A opportunity

To join the talk, simply click the link in my letter that has been sent by email to join the meeting. If you would like to submit a question about how to best support your child during the exam season, please email me the question in advance (sbutler@seaford.org) and I will do my best to cover as many as possible on Thursday evening.”

We are looking forward to welcoming as many parents as possible to our webinar on Thursday evening.
