Alec Stewart very kindly offered Seaford the chance to do a Masterclass with our four wicket-keepers; Charlie Tear, Murray Carter, Monty Hodson, and Sam Stace.

The boys went up and met Alec at the Kia Oval and he put them through an hour’s wicket-keeping in the indoor school.

Chris Adams, Head of Cricket said: “The Surrey CCC Professional squad were in pre-season training in the marquee on the square and as they came in the boys were able to have a photo with Ashes centurion Rory Burns and World Cup winner Liam Plunkett. The boys also met Tom Curran, also in the England World Cup squad.  It was an amazing experience and a great insight for the boys into the life of a professional cricketer.”
