Fundraising to support cancer charities

Sophia Johnson, from Year 8, cut off 30 cms of her lockdown hair for Little Princess Trust. Sophia said: "I wanted to do something in memory of Miss Daisy Strange who was my games teacher and inspiration to me and who had the most beautiful hair. Over the last few months, I have spent lockdown growing my hair. I have decided to cut it and donate it to the Little Princess Trust so that it can be made into a wig that will help someone feel happier and more confident through their difficult time.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, the Little Princess Trust will be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. The charity won't stop until the research that they fund ends childhood cancer forever."
