Seaford College recently pulled off a stunning victory in the British Schools Golf National Finals at the Breadsall Priory Club in Derbyshire.

The team of four golfers – Mollie Wheeler, Josh Greig, Freddie Muggeridge and Alex Wells – beat schools from all over Britain to claim the Trophy.

Seaford’s Resident Golf Professional, Jack Halsey, said it was an amazing achievement considering that two of the team members weren’t even in the Sixth Form. “The four golfers have great futures ahead of them and the win shows the depth of talent throughout the year groups at Seaford,” said Jack.

In addition, Mollie Wheeler won the Individual Nett Prize and Josh Greig won the Individual Gross Prize. Both Mollie and Josh have also gained places at US universities to study golf.

Seaford’s golf provision has grown massively in the past few years, and with improvements to its 9-hole course and practice facilities, Jack added that he was very excited to see what the future would bring for Seaford Golf.
