Our Prep School production this year was the story about the hymn Silent Night.  It was a magical performance from our Prep School students.

The play included the traditional nativity scene with Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus and also featured a cast of dancing mice, singing stars, a beautiful snowflake dance and an Austrian dance with students dressed up in lederhosen!  Many of our Prep School teachers also performed.  Mrs Lewis was a mouse, Mrs Jones wore lederhosen and Mrs Goddard dressed up as a star.

We were treated to some beautiful dancing and solo and group singing performances.  The audience were encouraged to join in with the carols during the performance.  The play ended with the whole cast singing Silent Night in German.

A huge thank you to Sara Reynolds (Director of Performing Arts) and our Choirs for starting the evening with beautiful performances.  In what has become something of a tradition, after the play our parents had the chance to let off some Christmas cheer with a rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas.

A huge thank you to all of the teachers for the performance.  A special mention to Mrs Lewis for coordinating the production and Miss Page for playing the piano.
