Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!
Students, staff, and alumni took part in a video wishing everyone in the Seaford Community a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in some of the many languages spoken in the school and at home.
Thank you to Stephen Cronk, a former pupil and Seaford parent who spoke in French with his wife Jeany from his home in Provence, they are owners of Maison Mirabeau. Other languages spoken in the video included Hindi, Japanese, Welsh, German, Thai, Polish, Spanish, Italian and Swedish.
Jenny Linford, Languages Teacher, said: “There are many languages and cultures represented at Seaford College and sometimes it is easy for these to get forgotten in the buzz of everyday life. As linguists in the MFL Department, we would like to celebrate all our different languages by wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!”
