A poignant Remembrance service at Seaford College.

Many hundreds attended our moving Remembrance service, and the afternoon provided a chance for Old Seafordians to catch up over a bite to eat and down at the sports fields watching alumni taking on the school teams.

Thanks to all those that helped to make last Sunday so special and well done to everyone involved with our Remembrance Sunday service with special thanks to the CCF, our choir and orchestra, Major Plewes, Fr Colin, Sara Vernon, Jenni Hawkins and Merce, our teachers and our operations and catering teams.

Thank you to students, parents, governors, alumni and friends of the College for joining us on this very special day in the Seaford calendar.

Here's the video of the full service:

Seaford would like to thank all the alumni that turned up to play in and watch our traditional sports matches following the Remembrance service and lunch.

This year there were mixed hockey and netball matches, and some clay pigeon shooting and golf. In the hockey, the alumni team kept up their winning streak by beating the Seaford team 4-1. The alumni women also won their netball match 50-20.

Thanks also to Chris Adams, Jack Halsey and Andrew Plewes for organising the sports afternoon.
