Seaford creates an environment that nurtures student mental health and wellbeing.

Jo Forman, Director of Safeguarding, Wellbeing and Resilience (DSL), warmly invites our parents, from Year 6-13, to our Raising Resilience Talk with Alicia Drummond, followed by a tour of The Wellbeing Hub.

Jo said: “We place huge importance on Wellbeing here at Seaford College, creating an environment that nurtures student mental health and wellbeing is a continued key priority.

We have recently invested in an interactive online portal called The Wellbeing Hub, developed by child and adolescent mental health and wellbeing experts, Teen Tips. This is designed to help our parents to further understand and meet their child’s social and emotional needs, and we believe that it is an invaluable source of information and support for the whole school community.

The founder of The Wellbeing Hub, Alicia Drummond, presented to the students in an assembly on Monday, and we are delighted to invite our parents to join us in the Johnson Centre on Wednesday, 12th October, 7.00pm-8.30pm for a presentation with Alicia Drummond on ‘Raising Resilience’, followed by a tour of The Wellbeing Hub.

This promises to be an informative and interesting evening, starting with refreshments from 7.00-7.30pm, with the presentation commencing at 7.30pm-8.30pm   After this, we will send out further details to you including a guided video of The Wellbeing Hub and instructions on how to access it and register."
