Graziano Giannitti (aka Julian, Julio, Gulio)

The Seaford community lost one of its longest serving members of staff recently and we will always remember him with great affection.  Gulio came from Italy and joined the college estate staff 62 years ago.

He took on a series of different roles over that time as the school evolved and many of us will have been driven by him and have been cheered by his joyful approach to life.

Gulio passed away a few weeks ago after a long illness. He insisted on continuing to work at Wilberforce, the Prep School, up until a week before his death.   His kindness and never-failing good humour made a strong impression on us all.

He leaves behind him a close-knit family including his wife Maria and son Pasquale, both strong and supportive members of the Seaford community.

His funeral takes place today. We will miss him greatly and send our deepest condolences to all his family.
