A great initiative to challenge our budding Biologist.

Dr Andy Richardson, Head of Science, and Year 9 and 10 students talk about the Biology Challenge, a competition involving around 44,000 students from 627 schools across the UK.

The challenge didn’t simply cover what’s in biology textbooks, but also examined students on their wider knowledge of the issues surrounding the subject, said Andy.

“Our results were fantastic,” he said. “Two students got the Gold Prize, which puts them in the top 5% of all entries. There were eight Silvers and a host of Bronzes.”

Well done to all the students that took part!
