We're looking forward to welcoming Alistair Petrie as our Speech Day Guest Speaker.

Alistair Petrie trained at LAMDA and has performed on stage at the National Theatre in London, the RSC, the West End and the USA. On television, he currently plays Michael Groff in the Netflix hit series ‘Sex Education’ – Season Four is due out in autumn 2023 – and he plays the leading role in ‘The Following Events Are Based on a Pack of Lies’ due on BBC One this summer.

His other recent screen work includes ‘The Night Manager’ alongside Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, ‘Rush’, ‘Cloud Atlas’, ‘Sherlock’ and many others. He is currently filming a series for Disney.

Born in Yorkshire as the son of an RAF pilot, he was brought up in the Middle East and Africa. Alistair is married with three sons. He and his wife Lucy were the first married couple to swim the English Channel in 2007 in a time of 12 hours and 21 minutes, raising funds for the Neonatal Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

He is a patron of the premature birth charity Borne and supports Place2Be, the teenage mental health charity. Here is a QR code to donate to Place2Be.
