Teacher Reviews

Becoming a lifetime reader is based on developing a deep love of reading. Reading should be fun and exciting and as I always say to students, there is no right book, the trick is to find the book you want to read, that captures your imagination and that you simply can't put down.  That is why we are thrilled so many of our Prep school staff have created book review videos sharing a real variety of books!  We've ran a competition this week asking the children to guess which book belongs to each teacher and the students have been talking about what their PE or Spanish teacher might be reading, and that has sparked very interesting discussions. It makes intuitive sense that, in order for us to best promote reading in our school, we need to show our students that we love to read, that we value reading and that we read regularly too.”
