At the start of the year Seaford College took students from Years 9 to Years 13 to the French Alps for a week of skiing in the resort of Les Menuires which hosted the men’s slalom alpine skiing at the 1992 Winter Olympics.
The trip was for skiers of all abilities and each day on the slopes included a lesson in the morning and the afternoon. The students were able to take in the beautiful scenery that the French Alps offers whilst enjoying a week of quality skiing.
PE Teacher Dan Joseph, who organised the week in France, was delighted with how the trip went and felt all the students enjoyed the experience of skiing in the French Alps. “Les Menuires was a tremendous resort and I think the students will always remember skiing in the French Alps,” he said. “The scenery was spectacular and that mixed with some exciting skiing made it a memorable week for the entire party”.
