Seaford College played in the South Regional Indoor Hockey Championships and made it through to the top tewnty teams in the Country. After five pool games Seaford were unbeaten but, even after beating Cranleigh, the team finished second in the pool due to a drawn game earlier on in the day. Florian Pelzner was the top goal scorer with 10 goals, closely followed by Jamie Whitehouse 8 and James Callaway 1. After moving venues to Whitgift the team was drawn against current national champions Whitgift School in the semi-finals. Seaford were only 1-0 down at half time, due mainly to the outstanding goal keeping of Aidan Mullins, but the team finally lost 1-5, Jamie Whitehouse scoring his eighth goal. Whitgift and Cranleigh are the two teams that go to the National finals from the South and with Seaford having beaten Cranleigh 4 – 2, the school and players can feel extremely proud.
