Boys begin boarding in Johnson Hall, where they sleep in partitioned dormitories, offering an element of privacy and room for their personal possessions.
They move on to single or twin study bedrooms as they progress through school and, in the Sixth Form, enjoy the enviable facilities in Heden House, which has its own Common Room and Dining Room.
All boarding houses have their own recreation area, where boarders can read, relax and chat with their friends.
The building of a new boys boarding house is due to begin in May 2010 and will be situated in the 'walled garden', next to the Mansion House.
