Active and Adventure

The College runs a highly-successful Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme which sees candidates setting out on all-night orienteering exercises and expeditions both at home and abroad.

All pupils join the CCF in the Spring Term of Year 9, opening up a wide range of opportunities to train alongside the Army, Royal Navy and RAF.

Canoeing, sailing, climbing and abseiling crop up frequently on the school activity calendar, as do flying weekends with the RAF and camps under canvas at a range of locations in England and Wales!
