Over the Easter holidays, a group of 27 students and 3 staff travelled to Salzburg, Austria for Seaford Prep’s Ski Trip. With students from across the years, their skiing ability ranged from first timers to advanced.
The group was split into three different ability groups. These changed throughout the week and saw some first timers move up to intermediate level and some of our advanced group trying out the pro line jumps at the ski park.
Besides skiing, there were plenty of activities to do on-site, such as a trampoline park, bouldering wall, indoor slide, football pool, pool table, skate park, volleyball pitch and a typical Alpine cabin used for our Seaford’s got talent night!
The group also ventured out to the local Austrian shops and spent an evening at an indoor and outdoor water park.
The students behaved brilliantly throughout the trip and were treated to a huge Austrian doughnut at a restaurant which was ski in, ski out. On the last evening, they got to build their own pizza at a smart hotel at the foot of the slopes where they received rewards. Annabel Powel was the well deserved winner of the photo competition.
We were so proud to hear that a member of the public had even made time to contact Mr Green saying how well our students behaved on the flight home and that they were an asset to the school.
A great time had by all and some new friendships were made.
