Seaford College Celebrates World Book Day

To celebrate World Book Day, Prep School pupils came to school in an impressive array of book character costumes.  There were competitions to design a book cover and witty comic strips, pupils read from their favourite books and teachers read to their classes.  Petworth Book Shop also came in during the morning to set up a wide variety of books that the children could look at or buy.  Sebastian Rees, the Head of the Prep School said: “Pupils and staff really enjoyed the day.  We had an amazing array of very creative costumes, Harriet Barter was the Hungry Caterpillar and Tommy Foot was Usain Bolt.  It’s always a pleasure to see children enjoying books.”
