Wednesday 10th July
A lie in was definitely in order after the efforts of each boy yesterday, climbing Table Mountain. After the standard large portions at breakfast, the boys were ready to train at FC Fratelli once more before their fixture v Tygerburg RFC later in the day.
The U16s came across an extremely physical game with resulted in an 18-18 draw to be followed by a tough battle for the U18s as well which unfortunately ended in a 20 -17 loss. Full match reports will follow tomorrow. Our best wishes go to Matt Langmead who has unfortunately spent the afternoon in hospital due to damage to his knee. He is safely back at the hotel and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Returning to the hotel, the boys tucked into tomato soup, chicken risotto with a marmalade sponge to finish, not bad at all!
The U18s enjoyed some time at the Waterfront with Mr Bowden and Jodie while the younger age group relaxed at the hotel.
Tomorrow, the boys will visit Fisantakraal Informal Settlement followed by a beach training session.
