Community Action Day

For the first time Seaford College is planning a Community Action Day. This will take place on July 4th and all our Year 9, 10 and 11 students will be involved in activities either off or on campus. The idea is for the College to put back something into the community and hopefully this will become an annual event. We hope that some of the contacts that we make will allow us to send students to them on a regular basis during the year so that we develop a network of community projects.

The activities that are taking place off campus include beach cleaning, bag packing, car washing, working with the disabled, working at animal sanctuaries etc. Children from the local primary and nursery schools are coming onto the College site and will be taking part in activities such as team building, poetry, music and sport.

We hope that both the local community and the College students will benefit from this special day.
