Seaford Supports the Torch

On Monday, July 16th, Olympic relay torchbearers for the Tillington, Petworth and Duncton areas of West Sussex gathered in the Mansion at Seaford College for early morning refreshments. They were then taken by coach to their individual starting points for their leg of the relay. Seaford staff and visiting summer holiday foreign students gathered at the school gates to cheer Paul Zetter, 89, as he passed the College entrance with the torch held high. Despite the persistent rain everyone agreed it was an event not to be missed!
